  • Summary: Pedometer
  • Comment: I like that this pedometer has a 7 day memory, and is accurate at counting steps. Also, the aerobic option is nice for exercising.

  • Summary: Too hard to program
  • Comment: I had an awful time trying to set up the 113. The battery had to be removed to re-program it because it would never let me go back to correct anything. I spent over hour and a half, and I never finished programming. I gave up and sent it back.

  • Summary: Incredible
  • Comment: Our offices are using these for a national shape up contest. I purchased these for my sisters. These are so accurate and easy to use. They store your steps for 7 days and reset at midnight back to zero. In a local drug store these were double the price I paid through amazon.

  • Summary: Omron hj-113
  • Comment: Works great for a reasonable price. More accurate than the more expensive Omron model that can be connected to your computer. This model also measures descending steps, you just need to adjust your calculations based on the size of the steps you take. As in other omron models, side steps are not measured but I still use it when I am dancing just to get a rough measure. Love this product. WOrht the money as it keeps you motivated to walk etc.

  • Summary: Great motivator to GET MOVING!!
  • Comment: This pedometer is easy to figure out how to use, which is always my main concern when buying new products.

You do have to measure your stride, but the instructions are specific enough so that you can measure your stride and
set the pedometer without it being a major life event. The time is always displayed, which I like - and this pedometer counts regular
steps, aerobic steps, and measures distance walked. It also goes back to -0- at midnight and starts your count over. You
can go back about a week and the pedometer keeps your daily step count in memory should you wish to check back on it.

I am using the pedometer primarily walking around the house and neighborhood during the day to see how much activity I am
actually getting. Unfortunately, this little device has shown me that I am not walking nearly as much as I thought I was. In
that regard, it has motivated me to get moving much more, park further away from stores, and get up and move around when
playing on the computer just to add some steps on to my final count of the day.

I brought it with me on a recent weekend vacation to New York City and was really excited to see that I walked 7.5 miles one day,
nearly that same amount the next day and almost 6 miles the third day.

My goal is to get up to around 5 miles each day, and this little Omron Hj-114 Pocket Pedometer is the perfect tool to get me moving
and keep me on a healthier road.
